BOARD OF DIRECTORS
– The Cotton Electric Cooperative Board of
Directors consists of nine members, including one from
each district of the eight-county service territory.
The current board includes:

EDWIN
KETCHUM represents
District #l from Velma. Mr. Ketchum has served on the
Board since 1970. He and his wife, Velma, have two sons.
Mr. Ketchum is partner in Ketchum Farms and is a farmer-rancher.

DR. BRUCE
SCOTT represents District #2 from Marlow.
Dr. Scott has served on the board since 1982 and practices
dentistry in Marlow. He and his wife, Penny, have a
son and a daughter.

CHARLES
SPENCER represents District #3 and resides in Elgin. Mr. Spencer, a farmer-rancher, was appointed
to the board in January, 2000. He and his wife, Janis,
have two sons and two daughters.

DAVID BUTLER
represents District #4 and resides in the Medicine Park area. Mr. Butler, an attorney, was appointed to the board in 2007. He and his wife, Karen, have two children.

TIM McCARY
represents District #5 from Chattanooga. Mr. McCary
is farmer-rancher and has served on the Board since
1977. He and his wife, Susan, have a son and a daughter.

THOMAS
J. JONES, JR. represents District #6 from
Duncan. Mr. Jones has served on the Board since 1984.
He and his wife, Kaye, have two daughters and one son.
Mr. Jones business interests include oil production,
banking and real estate.

MARVIN
SCHERLER represents District #7 and resides
west of Walters. Mr. Scherler has served 31 years on
the Board and is farmer-rancher. He and his wife, Trecyl,
have one daughter and two sons.

DEWAYNE
HIGH represents District #8 and resides in
Walters. Mr. High was elected to the board in 1999 and
is a local businessman and farmer. He and his wife,
Lavonne, have three sons.

TERRY
JOHNSON represents
District #9 from Ryan. Mr. Johnson has served on the
board since 1985 and is farmer-rancher. He and his wife,
Ramona, have two daughters and one son.
